The days of using ‘old-school’ compasses for scribing shelves, doors and panels are numbered, according to Nick Gibbs of magazine British Woodworking.
Reviewing the Easyscribe in the October/November 2012 issue of British Woodworking Nick – though fond of his compasses – describes how the Easyscribe “does exactly what anyone who has had to transfer across wavy lines for fitting would expect”.
Features Nick goes on to describe the features that make Easyscribe such a “neat device” including:
- the stainless steel movable plate
- the rectangular lead that doesn’t need sharpening
- the handy adjustment nut
